Independent Monitoring Review

As one of the conditions of the Northern Territory Government’s approval of the open pit development, MRM supports an annual independent environmental monitoring review. The review is managed by the Government and funded by MRM.

An agreed independent expert is appointed to review environmental monitoring conducted by both MRM and the Government through its regular compliance auditing under the annual Mining Management Plans.

The results of the independent review are made publicly available for the community's information.
