Camp accommodation

The accommodation village is located approximately 1.5 kilometres from the mine facilities and 0.5 kilometres from the airport.

The accommodation includes five self-contained barracks buildings and 300 ensuited single-persons quarters for permanent MRM employees and contractors. A number of houses are provided for senior staff.

The village has a dry mess comprising kitchen and dining facilities with a crib preparation area. Staff make their lunch daily from the self service area.

A wet mess is also available and provides a bar area with games room and covered all-weather beer garden.

The recreation facilities available for staff, contractors and visitors include: a swimming pool, golf driving range, volleyball court, tennis/basketball court, indoor cricket facility, gymnasium, TV room and covered barbeque area.

Flights

Flight services in and out of the mine are provided by Darwin-based major regional aviation operator, Airnorth, and operate from Darwin Airport

All travellers to the mine must check in with Airnorth at least 45 minutes before the flight departure time. Flights close 30 minutes prior to departure.
